Ten Minutes with a Stranger

Before meeting Arya, who was the first and only person I met online, I had been using Plenty of Fish for about two months. I would check my Romento Message a few times a day, and it was constantly filled with hundreds of messages from various guys. When this went on for two months, I concluded that Romento wasn't for me, and I was going to deactivate my account. Nevertheless, I was hanging out with a friend and we were looking at images before I actually got around to doing it. As Arya's profile appeared, my pal was continuing to swipe left to show that I wasn't interested in any of the guys. Don't let that one go, my pal told me as she swiped to the right for me.

I made the decision to message Arya, and I was a little frank: I told him that I thought he was cute, that we appeared like we'd have a lot in common, and that I was going to be closing my Romento account soon because I hadn't had much luck there. When we eventually saw him in person, he was incredible—even more attractive than in his images, and incredibly kind and chivalrous. After dinner, we went to see my friend's band play, and he got to meet a lot of my friends. a risky decision, but I believed my buddies could exercise better discretion (and everybody loved him.) About five months into our relationship, and things are still going well.
